I'm not sure if you are married or not (I don't think so?), but I have found being married that this continues to hold very true after marriage as well. If my focus is on Christ and I am finding my strength in Him, then my marriage is wonderful. If I am trying to make my husband meet my needs, it does nothing but create dissatisfaction and frustration.
